Welcome to a new month! It is a rainy start to this Monday morning but we are busy learning!

This month the 5th graders are learning about the Westward expansion and how the white settlers impacted the lives of Native Americans. In science, we are learning about survival of the fittest.

This week in middle school we are finishing our unit about Earth's resources. We will work the rest of the month on our Weather and Climate unit.

A look at the week:

Tuesday - Home Game for Basketball

Wednesday - Zoom Open House for 8th graders going to Sumner (You have an email from Mrs. Gray for the link if you are attending.) This is 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Thursday - Away Game at Mountain View

Just a reminder that March 19, 2021 is a PD day for teachers and there is no school for students.

Have a terrific week!

It is a rainy Monday morning but we are hard at work. This morning we are learning about survival of the fittest. The 5th graders have different items to use to represent the mouths of animals. They have to try to get as many beans as possible in a certain amount of time and then determine which type would allow you to survive better! Check out the 5th grade section to see more.
Being a Paleontologist is hard work and the 5th graders were hard at work this morning digging up their "fossils". Check out the 5th grade section to see more!
