Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 School Year
Welcome back to another school year! This year I will be teaching 4th and 5th grade! I am excited for what our year holds! Welcome back and enjoy learning!
We will be using Google Classroom this year. There will be more information to come about this. This will be one way to share information, assignments, and to communicate. On this webpage, you will find pictures and other information as well about what we are learning or have completed in class.
We will also be using Class Dojo to communicate information as well! Stay tuned for more information so you can get all the updates!

Social Studies 5th Grade:
- Ms. Skiff and myself are working together on a joint unit for the first trimester where we will learn about the government at the local, state, and national level. We will learn about the elections and participate in mock voting. We will also be visiting Augusta to see our capital.
- United States History Past and Present
ELA 5th Grade:
We will be using the Wit and Wisdom program this year and the topics include:
- Wordplay
- Native Americans
- Civil War
ELA 4th grade:

- A Great Heart
- Extreme Settings
