I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 1989. Teaching at Cave Hill School in a variety of grade assignments five through eight, I started in my Master's Program at UMO and graduated in 1996 with a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. This is my fifteenth year as the principal at the "Home of the Bears," Cave Hill School. I am a member of the Maine Principals' Association, and Learning Forward. I'm also the leader of the Jolly Juniors 4-H Club and the president of the Hancock County 4-H Leaders' Association along with being a member of the Ellsworth Lioness Club.
Working with the students, staff, and Cave Hill communities has been one of my greatest honors. I look forward to hanging out with the Bears!
I continue to serve as the principal at the Mountain View School in Sullivan as well as being the head mama bear at Cave Hill! I am excited about leading both schools during 2023-2024.
