Congratulations to senior Keith Jordan for being honored as the recipient of the Maine Principals' Association Principals' Award. The criteria for selection is Academics, Leadership, and Citizenship. Keith attended the Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor on April 8th. He is attending Maine Maritime to major in Engineering this Fall.
Keith was in the Class of 2014 at Cave Hill School.

Congratulations and good luck to sixth grader, Nathan Kimball, as he competes at the Maine Geography Bee sponsored by National Geographic held at UMF.

Congratulations to our School Spelling Bee Winners ~ Caden Robertson & Alexander Rogers (our alternate is Samantha Carter). Caden & Alexander will represent our school at the County Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 31st @ 6 PM at Hancock Grammar School.

On Wednesday, January 25th, our K-5 CHS students will be traveling to MVS to enjoy a day of fun-filled, hands-on learning!

Visiting Author & Illustrator Day: Rebekah Raye and Kim Ridley, who have written and illustrated two books about our local vernal pools and estuaries, The Secret Pool and The Secret Bay, will join us at MVS on January 25th for an exciting day of exploring the natural world around us . Kim will work with students to craft their own creative stories, while Rebekah will lead students in creating beautiful illustrations to complement their writing. Frank Dorsey from Friends of Taunton Bay will also join us, introducing students to the amazing world of horseshoe crabs and the microscopic organisms present in our very own Taunton Bay.
