Hello, my name is Althea Christiansen and I’m super excited to be back in the classroom after a twenty year break. During this time I ran a licensed home childcare and raised four children. I look forward to this new adventure as a fourth grade teacher. Many may recognize me as the peewee cheer coach from Mountain View and their youth sports program.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and being outside. I have two golden doodle puppies that keep me very busy now that my children are away at college.

I can’t wait to be a Cave Hill Bear and meet everyone.

We ask that you do your best to supply items for your child, but please know we have generous community members that will help, too!

Ms. Renwick will be joining us as our preK teacher while Mrs. Mobley is on maternity leave for roughly the first six weeks of school. We are excited to have Ms. Renwick join our team!

Reminder: There will be no school on Tuesday, May 6th for our PreK and Kindergarten students due to screening and registering those new bear cubs!!
