Hi Middle School Parents, Since you can't come in and visit, I thought I would post a video tour of our classroom.

give me the school parents so I know you can't come into the building this year so I just thought you'd like to see the English classroom this year and what it looks like so first in order to get there you have to go through Platform 9 and play quarters come on Inn now that I'm in my classroom I can take my mask off so we have Cubbies like we always do but this year are Cubbies are coordinated so if you can see them you see that each cubby has a different colored. And that's how the student whose Cubby's it is what color group that they're in and then they get dismissed by color so that they're never sick more than $6 less than 6 feet together so he can see that this year does a very different configuration of desk usually I have a nice little you here where we can have my class discussions but that's always too close together so they're a little bit farther apart this year another big change in the classroom this year is that all the bookcases and all the posters and all the bulletin are all covered in sheets of plastic which means that this year I'll be getting out for students I'll give them a few options they can read through them and then once the to chosen the one that they want I'll put them in a box Bill get sprayed and they'll get put back as always my desk is in the corner here and as always so I have bulletin boards and they kind of tell everybody what we're going to be doing in that particular class this year so in our social studies class you can see that we're going to be studying ancient history grade 6 Ela we're going to be reading some books holes and Walk Two Moons and reading some short stories if I go over here to the 7th and 8th grade boards you can see that the 7th grade will be reading some great short stories lb reading a lot of myth and reading the book Tangerine 8th grade eighth grade is all about Harry Potter and the hero's journey so we'll be read will be watching the first two films will read be reading the third book and then after we're done we'll also as we study the hero's journey so as always I have a homework board don't expect it to look like that for most of the year we need homework in ela so that's just a little glimpse into our classroom it's too bad that you can't see it in person this year but I hope that this helped to give you an idea what it looks like and of course if you have any or concerns you can always feel free to call me home or on my cell take care of everybody stay safe
